Rules
Pool Rules and Regulations
A "waiver" releasing Del Norte Swimming Pool, Inc.
from all responsibility due to injury and/or damage MUST
be signed by all members.
The lifeguard is in charge during pool hours. The
lifeguard has the right to expel any persons from the pool
for conduct unbecoming of a neighborhood pool. Problems
that cannot be resolved by the lifeguard will be referred
to Board Members.
No child under six (6) years of age will be allowed to
swim in the pool unless accompanied by a responsible
guardian (14 years of age or older). The lifeguard has the
right to send home misbehaving children and/or
irresponsible guardians.
All members must register their full names and guest
names (and ph.number if under 18) upon entering the pool
area.
All guests shall be accompanied by a member at
all times. Residents of Del Norte are not eligible as
guests as they are eligible for membership. Guest fees are
$2.00 per guest per day payable in advance.
There will be no running, no profanity, no pushing or
horseplaying around the pool.
No floats are allowed in the deep end of the pool
No glass containers are allowed on the pool premises.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the pool premises.
Families will be held responsible for any damage
incurred by their family and/or guests.
Absolutely no pets are allowed in the pool.
Pool Rules for "After Hours" Use
- No one under the age of 18 may swim in the pool
outside the lifeguard hours UNLESS accompanied by another
person over the age of 18. If this pool rule is not
observed, then the offender's key will be revoked and
future after hours use may be suspended.
- The door must remain locked AT ALL TIMES while using
the pool. DO NOT admit any persons into the pool other
than your guest.
- The pool will be CLOSED EACH DAY AT 10:00 pm- (Sunday
9:00pm)
- All rules observed during the regular pools hours (on
previous page) are still in effect after hours.
Rules For Parties (anytime during key only
times)
The Del Norte pool and pavilions will be available for
parties during the "key only" times on the chart, and not
during the designated member swim times. It is highly
preferred that at least a 1 week notice be given.
Contact the Board President to rent/reserve the pool
for a party.
The first two parties are Free
to members, after that the fee is $35.00.
Guest are still required to pay the $2.00 fee. $20.00
deposit is required and will be refunded upon inspection of
the pool premises.
Parties may reserve the pool for 3 hours. Longer
reservations will be handled on a case by case basis.
Parties are responsible for securing and compensating
their own lifeguard during the party, at least one adult
(over 18 yrs) must remain on the pool premises at all
times. Contact the Board President for names of approved
lifeguards. Note: It is recommended to have a
lifeguard present for all parties.
All rules observed during regular pool hours are to be
observed by all private party guests.
Members and their guests are allowed to swim in the
pool during parties.
Rules For Exclusive Parties (Monday 4:00
pm - 10:00 pm)
- The Del Norte pool and pavilions will be available for
parties on Mondays from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm and Mondays 7:00
pm - 10:00 pm. It is highly preferred that at least
a 1 week notice be given.
- All party rules and regular pool hour rules must me
followed.
